Correct Wiper blades for 2006 S Type?
Hi All, A friend of mine is having a nightmare finding the right blades for his S Type. The existing ones just seem to be plain with a wide open pace to accommodate the U clip and the washer attachment secures it on. Yet, the Bosch blades he bought are not the right ones and Euro Car parts have been...

Re: Kent Alloys
I think I like the closer to black look. If I ever get another XJS, that's what I will do.Later cars had Kent wheels with the centres painted a 'gunmetal' colour but I seem to recall that earlier wheels had a darker shade, much closer to black. Mike.

Re: Kent Alloys
When I had a set, I was never able to obtain confirmation of the colour code of the dark segments. The people I took them to said it was "range rover grey" or something like that. My set went on an XJS.

Re: 16in Lattice Alloy Refurb
Spit & Polish performed an amazing job on my Kent wheels. I'm sure they could do the same for yours.

Re: Wheel cleaning.
Maybe it’s because they are not lacquered wheels? I’ll no doubt be cleaning them again soon. Maybe i’ll use the jet washer this time. Also have IRON X to try.

Passenger door mirror
The door mirror on the passenger side is not responding to the joystick. My first thought is “OH MY GOD I HAVE TO TAKE OFF THAT BLOODY DOOR CARD WHICH WAS A NIGHTMARE TO PUT BACK LAST TIME”
Is it likely the connectors inside have come loose? Should that be the first thing I check?
Thanks.

Re: MOT today and finding a fellow member
It does concern me if these Jag specialists are being called into question, because I often have to rely on their honesty and integrity because I simply do not have the knowledge to know these thing myself. I would hate to think being a not mechanically savvy Jag owner means I’m an easy target for f...

Re: MOT due, where to go?
In the end I took it to The Jag Workshop who have been looking after the car since I bought it. Handbrake needed sorting, but it passed today.

Re: MOT today and finding a fellow member
I didn’t. The Jag Workshop fixed it when it flagged up on their MOT. It does feel tighter now.

MOT today and finding a fellow member
Had the MOT today, handbrake needed sorting for a pass, but all good and sorted for a year. Also ran into another member’s facelift convertible XJS “SGO” with this rather spiffy badge on the grill. Didn’t get to meet the owner. https://thumb.ibb.co/dmLUjc/40710144_DFBF_4025_9_B9_E_A1_A516_EA2542.jpg
