Hi
Does anyone know the standard fitting for the Ammeter on S-Types?
Were they Lucas or Smiths or whichever came out of the bucket first.
I've heard mixed opinions.
Mine a 65 is fitted with Smiths but my friends a 67 is fitted with Lucas.
Cheers

Intermittent Fuel smell in Cabin

No obvious leaks at the Fuel Bowl and Unions. This has only started after a complete Carb rebuild incl...

Fuse Blowing when Headlight Flasher used
Hi 1965 3.4 S-Type Auto Fuse Number 7 operates the Interior Lights, Cigar Lighter and the Headlight Flasher operated from the indicator stalk. I've had the entire wiring loom replaced by David Marks Garages recently and the flasher worked fine until now. When I pull the lever to operate the flasher ...

How much FURFLEX is required
I'm looking to replace the Furflex in my 1965 S-Type and am wondering approx how much would be required.
I'm reluctant to pay SNG Barratt's extortionate Shipping costs and will get it from Woolies instead but they don't know how much is required.
Thanks
Graeme

Re: S-Type Headlining around Rear Screen
Hi Alec
Thanks for that.
Can it be done in place with the rear screen removed or will other panels need to be removed to gain access?
Cheers

S-Type Headlining around Rear Screen
Hi
I need to replace the Headlining around the rear screen on my 1965 S-Type
Can anyone give me some advice here on the best way to do it.
Can it be done without removal?
Does the rear screen need to come out to access it?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
