the first and easiest check with these , is, when the car cranks does the rev counter needle "bounce". If it does you have a good CPS and need to move on, if it stays statix, the CPS has failed, swap and you should be ok do the usual checks as others have suggested first, check for spark, easy , pul...

depending on mileage, a second fluid change and then drive like Miss Daisy until the box relearns its settings MAY help however, if miles are up, and you are still getting the "cattle-gridding" a box swap is the best option, if you do go this route from memory Supercharged cars have a couple of VIN ...

also check the ride height sensor mounting, these corrode and fall off, this one may be about to do just that, hence giving a false reading

there is a procedure to set the ride heights at each corner correctly, however there is a but.. BUT, you will need the correct Jaguar calibration tool and the car hooked up to SDD or Autologic, last time I did it with David Marks, it was a two man job and took three attempts to get the right setting...
