Re: Battery charging
When I bought my XE-S new, I hard-wired the CTEK leads to the battery via a 10A in-line fuse and the boot/trunk floor, passed the cable through a convenient grommet and let it dangle down about 6 inches. (This female end has a rubber push on water seal, so no water ingress problems). It’s simple to ...

As the Moderator says, turn the adapter whilst applying light pressure and it should pop in to engage on the corresponding lugs.

Unlike other XE Forums, I have to 'Sign in' to JEC's every time - even though I've ticked 'Remember me'.

My 2017 XE S is the same: I try to remember to leave the key fob out of range.

Re: XE S Arrived
Have now checked remaining wheels hubs. All have corrosion, which I've cleaned off as best I can and smeared a light film of copper grease on the mating surfaces.

Re: XE S Arrived
Brian, the corrosion is on the car's hub NOT the space-saver wheel- which is similar to your spare.
I have yet to check the other three.

XE S Arrived
I collected my new XE S yesterday and I'm delighted with how it feels/drives. However, on removing a rear wheel to check that my ex-XK's space-saver wheel would fit, I was not impressed to see a rusty hub face looking at me after just 46 miles. Incidentally, on trying to fit said spare into the whee...

12V supply in boot/trunk
I posted this on the New Arrivals - and now found the correct place - doh! I have a new XE S on order and want to know if there is a 12 Volt pick up stud/bolt in the rear boot/trunk area? Had one in my 2013 XK which made connecting a CTEK battery conditioner a simple task. Thanks and hello X760 peop...

Defection
Hello folks. Tomorrow my 2013 XK Portfolio is being taken away (sniff...) by the dealer who is ordering me a new XE-s with a late March ETA. Therefore I've defected from the XK/XK8 Forum and waiting to pick up any tips on this model. What I'd like to see here are 2 full-size photos of XEs in Italian...

My 2013 XK Portfolio driver's headrest has the remnants of some old bloke's long-lost lustrous locks.
Sigh.....

Yes. The (steel-bodied) XK/XKR are X100 and the later (aluminium) XK/XKR being X150.

Re: Electrics for drivers seat 02 XKR
On a previous XK (X150 'spam can' model), the driver's seat lost it's memory and ended up like yours. I found that by holding the adjuster in the fully aft position for 10 seconds all worked normally again. Worth a try on your X100.
