I have a similar problem with one of my cars but that is due to it being out of shape after hitting a pot hole.

Good to hear you are improving. If you haven't got one I would take an OBDII code reader like the iCarSoft for reading codes and resetting. Hopefully you won't need it. Also you will probably be aware that these cars are sensitive to battery issues so make sure yours is tip top or treat it to a new ...

It may be that it may need cleaning inside the housing
There are a number of videos on how to iit.
Quite a common problem in Jaguar and Land Rover circles.

First I must admit that I have no idea.
However have a look on the SNG Barrat website as they have exploded diagrams of sections the car etc and youi might be able to identify any required part from that.

I had something similar to Paul but turned out to be a weak clip allowing coolant to seep past it.
