I have a 2012 XF. I have discover that on this build that the rear seat release mechanism is part missing. I believe that jaguar can supply a kit. Has anybody fitted this kit? And is there a fitting instruction avaliable?

My car is actually a 2012 XF 2.2 diesel

Having read the interesting article on page 12 of this magazine concerning the DPF concerns with the 2.7 and 3.0 ltr diesel engine's. I wonder does the same problems effect the 2.2 ltr engines. I have a 2.2 ltr deisel. Can a member please enlighten me?

The outcome from the full been problem was that the replacement of the light cluster rectified the fault. And the car has now passed the MOT. I shall investigate the old unit in the better weather. Rolyh

Hi My XF 2012 has just failed it MOT due to the front of side headlight wont work on full beam; it is OK on dip. The near side functions correctly. The garage wants to replace the whole offside light cluster unit. Is there any cheaper alternative action?
Has anybody seen this problem?

Thank you very much for the information, I shall have a search around on the internet for a a disk or download. Most manuals are in these formats now; which is OK; as you can just print off the section that you require for a specific job.

When I purchased my 2012 XF on March I felt sure that there would be a Haynes manual to help access any repairs that maybe required, unfortunately I was wrong.
I have noticed there are some online manuals, but is there any supplier of hard copies of workshop manuals?

Hi there is no pressure information on either door posts on my car. The tyre sizes are 245/45 z R18.
The car is 2.2D saloon. I have set the pressure to 35 psi. But as the ride is bit jittery I think that maybe the pressure needs to be lower.
Can somebody tell me what the correct pressure should be.

Is there water temperature gauge reading on the XF that can be displayed?
Looking through the manual there does not seem to be this facility.

I have looked at Eurojags website and did sell a lit at reasonable price, but it is no longer in stock. I shall ring them on Monday, to see if/when they will be back in stock, and also try a few other places.
