Re: Satnav
Andy, Problem now solved, it wasn't the disk because with that in the satnav box the centre console screen would not light up at all but it did prompt me to have another go at it to no avail, however whilst I was filling up with petrol last night a college of mine had a go and noticed that when the ...
Re: Satnav
Andy, I have tried all combinations of voice on or off, but the guidance worked before with the voice guidance turned off which is how I tend to use it for the majority of a journey and just turn it back on to find the final destination if it is new to me. I would however appreciate trying your disc...
Re: Satnav
The car is 2005 and I believe the disc is 2003. however the disc still shows the map whilst moving along its just that the guidance doesn't as though its turned of somewhere?
Satnav
When I try and input an address or postcode or use an existing destination I am getting an error message appearing on my satnav as follows 'Voice guidance is not available in this area'. The navigation does not then work but the map does move along and show the correct location whilst driving. I hav...

Not: Early X350 recall for brake pipe replacement
Note that Jaguar have a general recall for replacement of brake pipes (due to corrosion) on early X350 models the affected Vin Range goes from G00001 to G27878. I believe this effects all X350's upto early 2004. Your main Jaguar dealer should carry this out freee of charge. My 2004 X350 is just beyo...

Re: JEC Exhaust
I am not sure of current fuel costs in europe at present, however It looks as if I may be driving to Berlin in the spring to visit our twin Round Table No.175 Berlin Mitte and I was planning to see if I could get there on one tank of LPG leaving via Harwich to the Hook. I will let you know how I get...

Celebration/AJ16 Auto box Oil cooler pipes replacement
Yes it looks as if there are clips behind the manifold and with the ridgid sections of pipe it looks as if it may not be possible to replace the pipes without removing the manifold. The problem with the pipes is that the steel sections at the radiator end are both rusty and are weeping transmission ...

Celebration front bumber undertray
The under tray of my Celebration model was very tatty and the breakers I approached could not supply a good used part so I asked a local metal fabricators to produce one in 2mm aluminium using the original as a pattern. I then sprayed it with black schultes underseal prior to fitting so it looks sim...
