with the XJ-S you get .....new springs/shocks all round, new stainles front to back exhaust system ,new headlining .new a/c rad ,recored cooling rad,all calipers overhauled ,polished alloy star fish wheels p600 pirellis all round, gaer box resealed HID headlight conversion all good chrome , stamped ...

I do ALL my own work The list so far on my XJ-S includes new headlining fitted fuel system stripped out inc injectors/electrics ,cleaned repaired refitted all the usual electrical probs, windows ,guages ,lights,fuel system, wipers etc etc repaired tin worm removal tuning /servicing polished my wheel...

:evil: I tried several times to repair my droopy HEADLINING ! I sprayed the rear of my backing with fiberglas resin ....it did strengthen it ....but your still left with the inner side ,i found it impossible to strengthen leaving a nice even surface to glue the material to. Any slight defect looks l...

any body going on the saturday ??? work gets in the way yet again DOH !

Hope youve checked your tyre pressures with a reliable guage ?? I had the same sort of feel on my H.E ..... after rechecking the tyre pressures with my guage i found they were over inflated by 10 psi , i dont use garage forecourt tyre guages any more but carry my own guage

well its only a long flight away

they dont flash on mine !!! just the hazard warning symbol in the warning light row does ......thats all thats required for a MOT pass

You shouldve tried halfords they got them in stock , type 273 ,i walked in with one as a pattern to be sure and there they were these and many of the other bulbs used in the XJ-S are not Jaguar specific ,but are used in many other cars as well

maybe even BSF !! depending on your cars age

:shock: well after returning from the trip to the heritage motor museum trip yesterday ,i left my interior lights on in the rear all night ,but it started ok this morning , :shock: living with the lights on when cleaning doesnt seem a bad idea :D michael did you find the wheel repairers after ?? great day out !!!!! car ran like a dream .....as they do ,weather was ok ish great company ,looking forward to more days out , is it spring yet :?: planning a few jobs over the winter months for the xj-s ....interior ,paint ,reseal the steering rack ,anoying drip from the gearbox dip stick tube etc ...

why not fit your own switch ?? remove the positive feed wire to the int light fuse ,extend it and connect to a simple on/off switch hidden out of site ,run a wire from the other side of the switch back to the fuse
