Many thanks for your reply Mike. Very helpful.I am not entirely clear as to which trim part you are referring but Jaguar lists what it calls "M3 plastic pushnuts" for fixing a lot of the S-type side mouldings. They are available under part number XR82170. Hope this helps. Mike.

An OBD code reader, it plugs into the OBD port, which from memory is below the dash on drivers side, it will at least give you some information what is wrong. A basic one is cheap from various sites, eg eBay or Amazon. You can spend lots more which will give you a lot more functions, but start with...

Certainly safe to use, but sadly it will not go twice as fast!

Definitely works clearing a coked up injector, no misfire after use, certainly noticeable at idle. Don't know about DPF cleaning my car has downward facing tail pipes which suggests it doesn't have a filter, escaped from Jaguar when constructed.

Does anyone have any experience of using Wynn's diesel injector cleaner and DPF cleaner with the S type 2.7 twin turbo diesel engine.
I would like to know if it is safe to use and if my Jag will then go twice as fast !!!!!

Hello
I have the 2.7L diesel version of the S type. What is the feeling about fuel? Is it worthwhile paying the extra for premium rather than regular diesel. In the Woking area at the moment premium is approx £1.63 per litre !!!!!
