Re: Bosch high flow supercharger intercooler pump. V8R Jags
Elwabbo It might be that your Hella pump was knackered and that was why the Bosch unit had an increased flowrate. I can tell you without a doubt that when I tested the two pumps the original hella unit produced a greater flowrate. I still replaced it as the Hella unit was making a horrible noise, wh...

Re: Bosch high flow supercharger intercooler pump. V8R Jags
Thanks Mike Out of interest I tested both pumps, the old Hella one ( which is not sounding too healthy) and the new Bosch one running off a battery with the suction dipped into a bucket of water. The flow from the original Hella pump was noticeably greater than the 'high flow' Bosch unit from AVT. N...

Mike
Did you cut the wire to the old pump and solder on the new Bosch connector to this?
I'm thinking that maybe this is the best solution.

Mike
I've got to replacing the intercooler pump
ordered the AVT unit
What did you remove to get to the pump?
I have the front bumper off, all the plastic undertray bits
I'm having trouble getting to the electrical connector.
Any tips?

Re: Bosch high flow supercharger intercooler pump. V8R Jags
Thanks Mike Is this the same pump; https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-0392022002-Electric-Water-Pump-x/dp/B00BHKX9PA Its following a link earlier in the thread and a good bit cheaper (99 sterling) than the one from AVT (125 sterling) Probably doesn't include the Bosch connector plug but I can pick one o...

Re: Bosch high flow supercharger intercooler pump. V8R Jags
Mike I have the front bumper off at the moment to attend to a few things including a replacing a broken headlamp jet, a broken parking sensor, investigating a problem with low flow from the windscreen washer pump and replacing HID bulbs.. So as usual with these things the number of jobs has grown, a...

I have a Jaguar training manual for the air suspension system that states normal running pressure is 7-9bar.
There's lots of other stuff in there that might be useful in solving your problem.
Send me an e-mail and I'll send you a copy of it if would help.

''Any update on whether the Osram LED W5W (501) 1w 12v Warm White 4000K Bulbs worked ok as side lights or did they flicker?'' Ok, so have had them fitted now for just over a month and no problems. They are exactly the same size so fit perfectly and colour match the zennons exactly. No flicker so far...

Re: Fuel Gauge Drops from 1/2 to Empty
The latest on my fuel gauge thing Used the test function on the IC to read the level signals again after a bit of driving and 130 has reduced to 90 (this is the right hand side of the tank) 160 is still at 160 ( this is the left hand side of the tank) A schematic of the arrangement in the XJR tank i...

Re: Fuel Gauge Drops from 1/2 to Empty
So a bit more info on the fuel gauge thing. As I said in an earlier post and probably as many of you know the X350 xjr has two fuel pumps and two fuel senders one each side of the saddle type tank which sits across the axle. In the XJR both pumps deliver fuel to the engine and transfer fuel to the o...

Re: Is my alarm working? I think maybe not
Anybody know if I need to disconnect Battery ground, or Battery ground and positive before disconnecting the connectors to the cars modules?
If so what needs to be reset after battery disconnection. I have the code for the audio.. Is there anything else?
