FOUND: E Type Series 1 (LHD) 2+2 Centre Wiper Spindle
Does anybody here have a spare centre wiper spindle for a Series 1 2+2, please? My car was methodically dismantled last year and all retained parts recorded and put into Ziploks per best practice. We have been methodically checking/cleaning and refurbishing bits since then and putting them away agai...

Re: Wanted: Series 1 2+2 Nearside Rear Bumper in Good Condition
A photo of the offending bumper both on and close up would help Some of the re-chroming shops have magicians that you refer to -- depends how bad the deformations are I've used Silverbronz in Alton, Hants. And ACF Howell in Walsall. Thank you. I'll be able to post pictures tomorrow My email contact...

FOUND: Series 1 2+2 Nearside Rear Bumper in Good Condition
I am looking for a nearside rear bumper for my 1966 2+2. The current part was "repaired" after a rear end shunt but it no longer looks right now that the bodging on the bodywork has been corrected and the car once again is true. The lines are all over the place. I was wondering if anybody here had a...

Re: For sale: 1995 XJR6 Bodyshell and V5 available after Easter
It's a shame there are no takers here. There are many useable parts on it, including (normally rotting) body panels. In the absence of any interest here, I might pop it on a certain auction site for a quick spin (with all the attendant pain that that brings) or I might just decide to weigh it in wit...

Mike,
Thank you. Very illuminating and well worth half an evening by the fireside. The thread is very readable and I'm very grateful for the time you took to share this information. Now, to implement some of it!

XJR6: Electric water pump upgrade
I've had a good look around this sub-forum and can't seem to find an answer. I'm planning various upgrades to the stock motor including the Powerhouse oversized crank pulley and a bored out TB and anticipate that I will need to do something about the heat rejection from the engine. I understand that...

SOLD: 1995 XJR6 Bodyshell and V5 available after Easter
I'm disposing of a metallic red (sunroof option) XJR6 bodyshell in very good condition with minimal rust on the panels. It will be available shortly after Easter. I have had the engine, IFS, wheels, some ancillaries and gearbox removed but most of the rest of the car (including the interior) is ther...

SOLD: 1966 S1 2+2 Metallifacture Jack
I have an unrestored Metallifacture jack for sale from my 1966 US market 2+2. The jack works well and the ratchet is present and securely attached to the jack. It has the shorter arm and the cup head specific to the 2+2. There is no damage to the jack, except that some of the "RAF blue" paint has go...

Re: X300 EXHAUST MANIFOLDS
I seem to recall Elite and Performance Jags and AJ6 Engineering had some answers to this issue. Otherwise as previously said, have a chat with your local Longlife Exhausts or other local exhaust guys for bespoke solutions. My local depot in Charlshalton near Croydon are excellent. Indeed their work...
