First Flutes will fit over Brembo's Double 5's will but you will need spacers. I run on Double 5's and have a front D5 as a spare in the wheel well OK I agree not ideal if on the rear or the wrong side, but as a spare 100% better than a Skinny where you can't go over 50MPH or more than 50 miles with...

Re: New Member in Southsea, Hampshire
Hi Norman,
I was really impressed with Minster. Excellent service.
I'm thinking about some (simple) changes myself..... but at this stage probably only cosmetic ones ...chrome dial surrounds and maybe a JEC exhaust kit.
Paul.
The start of the Slippery Slope then!!
Enjoy your car.

Re: New Member in Southsea, Hampshire
I'm picking up my XK R from Minster Jag in Leeds on Thursday, then I have the luxury of a 200 mile drive home! Paul I purchased mine from them some 7 years ago, I'm near Guildford Leeds prices were better than the South East and got the spec I wanted Although the car is nothing like the one I bought...

Re: Stratstone Experience
Hi, I bought a 2005 (reg Jul 2006) XKR 4.2s Conv with 34000 miles on the clock from Stratstone's at Burnam at the end of Sept. Since then it has been returned an astonishing 10 times (450 miles extra on the clock) for failures including John, I realise you want these items fixes under Warrenty but t...

What a disappointment. Fingers crossed that Woodbridge will run again next year when I'll look forward to a new XK8 record. Mike. At least that will give us time to develop it further to release some more horses, that is in the pipe line. As Avos said we may hit the 500rwhp What I want now is a Manu...

Wow Norman, you really are pushing the boat out! Did you by any chance take your car to the Woodbridge trial in its latest form? If so, you must have given the XJ220 a run for its money. Mike. :D Mike I did go and was for it, but Sods law the MAF played up and the engine would not rev over 5,000 Sor...

Thank's Andre for doing the conversion on my XKR Coupe. All I can say the conversion and power is AMAZING, I just can't stop wanting to drive the car. The extra power is there through the full rev range, yet it has NOT upset the driveabilty of the car, it is still easy to drive around town or for Vi...

Re: Inverness
Furthermore, I accomplished the main reason for the trip, plus figured out that at 70 the speedo is 6 mph optimistic when the tyres are cold and 4 mph when hot - according to my TomTom satnav. My XKR / NavMan reads the same as your XK8 / TomTom By the way when I was timed at 162.4 MPH my speedo was ...
