The drivers door on my early Mk2 self locks on closing door. Unlocks ok from inside and with the key. I have a workshop manual which illustrates the mechanism but cannot figure out what needs adjusting. Any advice

OK, for info, my are glued in, have obviously been out before to replace vinyl. Judicious use of screwdriver and small pry bar from the hinge cut out, using the threaded reinforcement to lever from to avoid damage to steel casing/ vinyl

I plan to get some new/ re veneer the wood inserts in the picnic tables on rear of front seats. Are they just glued in and any tips on removal so as not to damage the vinyl covered casing which is good?

I will shortly be re-buildimg the front suspension on my early 1960 Mk2 3.8. As well as Harvey Bailey stiffer springs and polybushes (Superpro) on all suspension bushes, I will replace the sub-frame mounts. I note there is a polybush option for the front mounts.
