There is a drain hole within the fuel filler aperture, you may find yours is blocked, water should be able to drain away behind the wheel, a length of thin welding wire would clear it if blocked

I replaced the console on my 2004 s type a couple of years ago
From memory it needed a good tug starting at the windscreen , think there are two fixings on the front and one on each side it just pulls out but you need to be brave with it

I run mine on the premium fuel, however as said above the car will run ok on the standard stuff, I never put supermarket fuel into mine

Yes it's not too hard to find your way around on Jersey so could be worse, was just surprised it wasn't there originally, will consider update disc but not usually a problem here and a bit wary after hearing stories of copied discs not working and corrupting the system
