Have already removed the parcel cover and have access - very tight and as you said you double jointed. Will try this way first when the new pump arrives.

Take care if ordering the hose from the themostat to the expansion tank, the illustration states it is MJA4560DB but 16 is actually MJA4560BE.

MJA4560DB is part 8 in the ilustration that I now have as a spare!

The track rod ends need to be adjusted to centre the wheel. The alignment could be fine, as you adjust 1 track rod end, you compensate on the other.
Normally the wheel is centred and then held in position till the tracking is finished ensuring it is as you want.

Same for mine, just dropped the front sub-frame. Will be good when done!
