I have an 2008 sov estate 2.2D 65000 on the clock.
There is no dipstick for the aoto box sealed for life Jaguar say.
However in the near future I will find someone who can do this work as I am far from happy with this concept.

Well I feel justfied bit of work to do . Fuel tanks out outer sills removed. lots of filler lots of pop rivets and outer sill wrap around inners which are rusted to floor pan. A small update . The car is now with the rust wizard but he does more than that. To date. Carbs now balanced correctley starts at first button and the auto choke works. ( have removed the awfull electronic switch on the dash that the last owner used to start the car) Electronic ignition and silicone...

1. Keep it Dry. 2. Get it waxoiled and some paint on the front floor section drivers side. 3. Renew seals on quater windows 4. Adjust rear door closer to stop wind getting in. 5. sort outo auto box bump when going into reverse 6. Finish tuneing those darn carbs. Apart from that not much else. :? Larry

Hello Stuart, very true and things have moved on, as they don't have distributors either. Alec I bought the 420g as a car which needs some attention but usable and in the main ok.
