hi, i need to take the engine out of my pre he xjs does any body know of a good mobile machanic that will come and take the engine out.
i would like it done at home so i can carry with the body work of the car while the engine is out

hi, thanks for your reply.i took the pump off tonight and got it on the bench,you can blow through it. i flooded it with wd40 and spun it over on a batterey it goes round but does not seem strong enough, it just makes a cargaling sound.the fillter on the inlet is new. do you know if they can fail in...

hi ,i have a pre he xjs 1978 manual,could it be a p-digital. the engine numbers start with 8s and end in sa,also the computer is a lucas and there is a fuel fillter in the boot.i can not send for jdht cert yet as iam still waiting for the log book to come back from dvla. hope someone can help nige. ...
