Morning, can anyone point me in the right direction please? The mounting brackets sit on rubber bushes with encapsulated threads top and bottom. Could very well be me but can’t find them anywhere.

ok so sacrificed three panel clips but the panel came off. I can open the door by moving the plastic cover and popping the actual mechanism open with a long flathead screwdriver but wont open using any of the manual actuators so Eurojags it is for a new lock, thanks for your help Orkney.

we have discovered that my friends son re connected battery and moved the car to get his motorbike out, parked the car back where it was but didn't disconnect battery again so we assumed battery was still disconnected and carried on welding.

thanks for reply but this is an s type not a mk 2 so the operating button is in the rear number plate light housing not at the bottom of the boot as on a mk2

the boot catch on my s type (66) wont open the boot the catch itself will lock and unlock but the actual lock wont open i guess the linkage has become detatched but how do i get inside the boot to operate it???
any thoughts/solutions gratefully recieved
