Re: DIY exhaust removal
I recently removed the exhaust myself. What a job that was. Have a read click me to read There is more information on the following pages too. I strongly advise if your going to do it yourself get the car on a four post lift. My friend and I spent hours getting the exhaust off and even longer gettin...

Would help if we knew what car your talking about. Could you put the model and year in your signature?
I found your post by searching "unanswered Topics" so no idea which car we are talking about.
Thanks.

Re: Jaguar Headlight - C2N2434
Are you talking about the passenger side or drivers side? Does it have headlamp washers? Even if I cannot help you I think I can point you in the right direction for doing it a bit cheaper. I do not come on this forum very often. You would be better contacting me on my "story" Just do a post at the ...

Re: GPS Tracker
Hi guys, A thought for you. I have fitted a tracker to my XKR. Works really well. I do have to pay to top up the sim card every couple of months or so just to keep it live and a yearly subscription fee for the webservice to track the car on Google. Last time I paid it was £12. When I last renewed my...

Re: car covers again!
I was in the same situation as yourself. The thing is you do not have to put your cover on each time. I went to a Sunday Lunch do with a Jag Club. The previous night, and days, it had been chucking it down. That morning however the sun was briefly out. Off came the cover and it looked like it had ju...

Re: Door striker on a 2003 XKR
Thanks Mike.
I had a reply off a scrap dealer on one of the other forums I belong to. He tells me the plate is held captive in a frame to I can safely remove the Torx bolts without fear of it disappearing down the B pillar!
Thanks for the replies.

Re: Door striker on a 2003 XKR
Thanks for the reply. I had the door off earlier this year. Repaired the hinges and re-hung the door. It fitted lovely. However I now feel the door has dropped again. I cannot be sure as when the door closes it may ride into its final position on hitting the striker. The only way to be sure the door...

Door striker on a 2003 XKR
This is the part I am talking about on the B Pillar. The striker bottom left. https://www.2carpros.com/images/question_images/1555/original.gif I wish to rehang the door so would like to remove the striker to ensure I get the fit right without the striker lifting the door into its proper position. T...

Re: Fog Lights opaque
Hi there. Did you ever get to the bottom of this? If so, how? I have one " milky " fog light and it really annoys me. :x Asked about it when I had the car serviced and was told it's quite involved ( therefore expensive :( ) to replace the whole lamp I know this is an old post but sometimes out of s...

Re: Working JLR IDS package.
Do not limit yourself to IDS. Try the SDD package too. My car in theory anyway should be using IDS. I have an old laptop running SDD, though I hardly use it now. If memory serves me right, on SDD anyway, to alter stuff you have to go into pre-delivery check and options. You can alter stuff like reve...

Re: Radio advice
I was about to say no one broadcasts on MW these days but how wrong could I be. I too do not pick anything up on MW though luckily I am quite happy with FM. So no solution is required. Must be a common problem, one which I had no idea I had. On checking to see if anyone still broadcasts on MW I came...

Re: Name that Ping!
Just come across this after months away. Turned out to be the bell shaped housing on top of the suspension arm. Loosened it. Turned it. Tightened it. Ding gone!
