Well thank you Mike, for your rapid response. I will organize the actions you advise. The cruise fault is annoying, but the cutting out is more worrying. Fuel starvation was what occurred to me initially, so a new filter is first. Thanks again,

Cruise Control Problem
Hallo. Got my S Type couple of weeks ago. It's a Diesel Auto. ......No more aching left foot in traffic and surprising get up and go!.... The only probs so far are, jerking when on cruise control, and seems like engine dies momentarily when turning right, as on a roundabout. (bit worrying). :?: Mods...

Got My New S Type
