Thanks for the excellent description BB. I plan on doing my secondary tensioners tomorrow. Can you tell me, is the exhaust sprocket located on the cam with a peg/spline/key, or is it by friction from the bolt?
Kind Regards
Tony

Well thanks so much Mike. I've just completed cleaning the throttle body and mass air flow (MAF) sensor . I did the work one step at a time with road tests of about 5 miles in between. 1) Cleaned throttle body with Wynns Carb & Fuel Injection cleaner. Road test showed no improvement 2) Cleaned the M...

Hesitant Engine
My MY 2000 XK8 coupe suffers from a hiccup when I blip the throttle at idle. Insted of the revs rising, the revs fall before rising. This is frustrating when pulling away and I think is causing reduced performance.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Tony

Leaking door seal rubbers
I have a MY 2000 XK8 which is suffering from a water leak on the NS. It's not a lot, but does cause the carpet to get wet. I've replaced both door seals (L & R) and not cured the leak I've priced the body seal which is £195 + VAT! So before I go mad a spend such a lot of money, I wondered if members...

Door Seal Replacement
I have a year 2K coupe and need to replace the offside door seal as it has torn on top of the mirror bracket.
I think the mirror, tweeter and door card need to come off to access the seal and would like to know if anyone has been through this exercise themselves.
Thanks
Tony
