Car was unresponsive again yesterday. Managed to open it via the Jaguar Remote App on the phone. Pulled out and replaced Immobiliser Fuse in passenger footwell and car woke up. car in for service in 3 weeks. Hopefully all will be cured

I did mention the AA man attached the jump leads to the terminals in the engine bay. The battery is in good nick. Seems, after a bit more research, it's something to do with the Body Control Module.

The stuff of nightmares. Went to open the car, an XFS X260 65 Reg, with no response. Tried with the spare keys and even changed batteries in the fob. Still no response. Opened up the fob to use the emergency key. Alarm was activated as soon as I opened the door. Followed Handbook reset instructions....
