New MOT only advisory was for slightly corroded coil coil springs all round. These will be replaced in a months time as want to enjoy the car for the next month. Drives like an absolute dream. ABS warning light traced back to cut wires when bodywork works were being undertaken.

ABS fully tested and working as it should be.

New pads, discs, tyres, full service and MOT.

Should be back with me next week.

Agreed insurance valuation increased to £20k.

Update.

All ABS sensors fine and all ancillaries checked without issue. Now thought to be damage to wiring following the restoration to the rear end so under investigation.

New oil cooler fitted as old one was leaking plus new front discs and pads.

Failed its MOT due to the anti lock brake light showing yellow. It’s never done this before since the restoration.

It’s the original colour. Not sure what it is called but a burgundy red. I think the fluorescent lighting gives it a bronze tinge. Collecting the car on Tuesday.
