Re: Ride, comfort
I would like to thank you for your support, I took your advice and checked the sills. The are sound, with only surface rust. I phone Euro Jag and got a replacement rear subframe sent out that week. It took 5 hours to complete the job and cost £400 for the rear subframe and £225 to have it fitted. (G...

Re: Ride, comfort
Thanks for all the advice.
I have since be told I need to replace my rear sub-frame as it has rotted away and this will cause my beloved xtype to fail its M.o.t. So unless I can find away to repair or rather replace the rear sub-frame economically, this will be the end of my Jaguar love affair!

Ride, comfort
Hello, I want to make my 2005 2.2 xtype estate ride more smoothly. As it has got older I find the there is a lot of noise from the rear end when I go over bumps in the road, rather like a a flat bed trailer. I have removed everything from the boot area including the spare wheel. This does lessen the...

Hello, I would really appreciate anyone's recommendations of good garages in the South Wales area. My 2006 x type estate suspension might need looking at as the ride feels really hard now and with the roads in the state they are in, i feel a honest health check is in order. I have had the car five y...

Re: White Smoke
Thank you for your prompt reply. I am sure it is white smoke, so I will see it through the winter and see what happens.
Once again thank you.

Hello fellow x type owners,
I would like to up grade my steering wheel to one with the wood veneer. I have look in all the usual places but so far no luck. Has anyone been able to buy one and can you let me know where from.
Thanks

Re: Brake light issues
Thank you for reply, It seems the brake pedal was slightly loose and by tightening this it has stop the problem. It has also rectified the problem I had with the cruise control canceling it's self. All fixed for the sum of £17.50 and a slightly restless night.
Thank you again.
Thank you again.

Brake light issues
Hi I am wondering if any one else has had a problem with their brake lights. Driving home tonight I noticed that when I dipped the clutch the brake lights come on and when I brake the lights stay on for up to a 60 seconds so far.
Has anyone got any ideas before I take her to the garage.
